Kaaterskill Associates was contracted by North River Architecture and Planning to design the structure on this net zero, certified passive house. The full structural design incorporated a steel moment frame designed for wind and seismic loads and an insulated frost protected slab foundation. This project required attention to detail and good communication with the entire design team to be successful.
